Tagtips ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your
information when you use our mobile application ("the App").
By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance
with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide
- Account Information: When you register, we collect your name, username, email address, and password (hashed).
- Google Sign-In: If you sign in with Google, we receive your Google account email, name, profile picture, and Google ID from Google.
- AI Questions: When you ask questions to our AI prediction assistant, we store your questions and the AI-generated answers.
- Support Communications: If you contact us via WhatsApp, Telegram, or email, we may retain those messages.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Device ID: A randomly generated anonymous identifier for linking wallet data and coin balances.
- Device Token: Your device's Firebase Cloud Messaging token, used to send push notifications (optional, can be disabled in Settings).
- Usage Data: Interaction with predictions, VIP unlocks, coin transactions, and rewarded ad views.
- API Access Logs: Timestamps of API requests for security and rate-limiting purposes.
2.3 Advertising Data
- We use Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect device identifiers, IP address, and ad interaction data. Please refer to
Google's Privacy Policy for details.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To create and maintain your account
- To provide football predictions, AI analysis, and VIP content
- To manage your coin wallet, rewarded ad claims, and VIP unlocks
- To send push notifications about new predictions (when enabled)
- To display personalized advertisements via Google AdMob
- To improve the App through analytics and performance monitoring
- To respond to your support requests
- To enforce our Terms of Service and prevent abuse
4. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We may share data only in these limited circumstances:
- Service Providers: Google Firebase (notifications), Google AdMob (ads), RapidAPI (football data), and Google Gemini (AI responses).
- Legal Compliance: If required by law, court order, or governmental regulation.
- Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred.
5. Data Storage and Security
- Your account data is stored on secure servers using PostgreSQL databases.
- Passwords are hashed using bcrypt. We never store plain-text passwords.
- API tokens are stored as SHA-256 hashes. Plain tokens are never stored.
- We use HTTPS for all data transmission between the App and our servers.
- While we implement reasonable security measures, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.
6. Data Retention
- Prediction data: Automatically pruned after 30 days.
- VIP data: Automatically pruned after 30 days (unless unlocked by you).
- Stats snapshots: Retained for 365 days.
- Inactive device tokens: Purged after 90 days of inactivity.
- Wallet, coins, transactions, VIP unlocks: Retained for the life of your account.
- Account data: Retained until you delete your account or request deletion.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location (including GDPR in the EEA and UK), you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data
- Delete your account and all associated data
- Restrict or object to processing
- Data portability (receive your data in a structured format)
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

8. Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for children under 18 years of age.
We include an age gate that users must pass before accessing the App.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.
If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us
immediately so we can remove it.
